Loom Psychology Named Finalist in Two Global Categories at the 2025 Stevie Awards for Women in Business

We are delighted to share that Dr Reem Ameri and Loom Psychology Ltd have been named Finalists in two prestigious categories at the 22nd Annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business:

  • Woman of the Year – Healthcare

  • Women-Run Company of the Year – Social Good

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are among the world’s most respected honours for female entrepreneurs, executives, and organisations they lead. This year’s programme attracted more than 1,500 nominations from 48 nations, recognising innovation, leadership, and impact across a wide range of industries.

For Dr Ameri, this recognition marks a significant moment. Loom Psychology was founded with a clear mission — to make high-quality psychological advice more accessible to children and families. The nominations represent validation of that mission, and the work that has gone into developing an efficient, compassionate model of psychological support.

“Our virtual-first approach was created in direct response to real-world challenges,” says Dr Ameri.

“Too many children were waiting too long for assessments. Parents were navigating complex systems with little support. Local Authorities were under pressure to meet statutory deadlines. Loom was designed to address all of these issues, without compromising on quality or care.”

The “Women-Run Company of the Year – Social Good” category recognises organisations that are improving lives while maintaining a sustainable business model. Loom Psychology’s approach combines innovation and social impact, delivering high-quality virtual psychological assessments at speed, often within 24 hours of request.

The “Woman of the Year – Healthcare” award recognises women making significant contributions to healthcare delivery, access, or innovation. Dr Ameri’s work focuses on mental health support for children and young people, particularly within education. Her CLARITY Framework has transformed the way psychological assessments are delivered, helping schools and families access expert advice faster, with long-lasting impact on learning, confidence, and wellbeing.

The winners will be announced at a gala ceremony in New York on 10 November 2025. Although Dr Ameri will be following the event from the UK in the early hours of the morning, she describes being named a finalist as “already a win”.

“This recognition shows that it’s possible to build a values-led business that’s both impactful and commercially viable. I’m proud of what our team has achieved, and even more excited for what’s ahead.”
